This guide was built by local Chelmsfordian's who love their beer. We have visited most of the bars in the City that offer great beer and chosen a select number of them that not only care what they serve and look after their beer, but also offer the best range of beer and each venue offers a different experience from the next.

The aim of this guide is to make the 'Chelmsford Beer Mile' a thing to do in Chelmsford, and to support the fantastic venues that are a part of it, especially during such difficult times for the hospitality industry. If we don't get out and support these venues, they won't survive and Chelmsford will be a much duller place to live!
